Archery Elk Rut Hunt
September
Nothing kicks off the hunting season better than that first bugle of the rut. Our area boasts a healthy elk population, and when the rut is in full swing, the only tricky part is deciding which bugle to chase. You’ll want to get in shape for this fast paced hunt. Bulls lose interest in a stationary bugle, so when we get a response, it’s crucial that we close the distance quickly and bring the fight to him. We specialize in archery hunts, and our experienced guides work hard to get you in close. We’ll set you up in a nice clearing while we call them in to you.
Rifle Elk Hunts
October
Fall is in full swing, and the elk have returned to their normal habits. The key to success in the late season is recognizing these habits and establishing patterns. We rely on our knowledge of the area to put you in the best position for success. We spend the early mornings glassing until we locate the herd, then plan our stalk. Long range shooting is helpful but not necessary. Shots range from 50-300 yards, but the majority of our bulls are taken within 100 yards. We strive to provide our hunters with clean, ethical shots. If you have to shoot 1,000 yards to get your elk, we’re not doing our job!
